Small lounge was not busy due to lighter flight volumes mid week. It has air conditioning (the terminal does not as it is open air).
The lounge has a 3 hour maximum policy for staying.
I was immediately checked in by a friendly agent. Once I chose a seat and table I was given a food and drink menu. They offer table service!
Drink options include bottled water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, juice, and the only alcohol was Singha beer.
I ordered a coke, a Singha beer, and prawn wonton soup for my lunch. The soup was served almost too hot and was very tasty.
There is also a small buffet of dim sum and snacks for self service. They display the drink options here also. Drinks are ordered from the roaming lounge attendants and served cold in glasses.
The lounge also has a “pancake printer” which I am a big fan of. I had a couple for dessert after my soup with some bottled water.
Seating was comfortable wicker chairs and tables with some longer benches too. The lounge was divided in the middle between the service desk + kitchen and the seating area with good strong air conditioning.
There were 2 desktop computers available for use in the corner of the seating area. I was not able to find any power outlets for charging devices.
Free WiFi code good for 3 hours is given at checkin. The WiFi speed was fast. You can also use the free airport WiFi from within the lounge also.
The restrooms are in the terminal area at gate 3. They are also air conditioned while the main terminal seating area is not. I do not normally take restroom photos but I feel the fish tanks warranted an exception.
The lounge attendant confirmed my flight and let me knew when it was time to board. Instead of announcements they came around and told each passenger in person. A nice touch!
The table service is a nice touch. It is rarely seen in priority pass lounges. Lack of power outlets is disappointing but ok for short domestic thailand flights. I recommend this lounge for anyone flying domestically out of USM airport!
